Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as an American television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will leave the show in May 2021 and launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is a cohost of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is adamant about her interest in politics to her experiences as a new mother in the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working there. She saw how it affected the people of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District during the 2010 election. However, she lost to Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
